Here comes the 10th year of our Escapades du Bocage, a stroll to know more about heritage, beauty spots, touristic and industrial sites in Pays de Domfront.

In every site a priviledge guided tour by the host or a workshop by the owner is on offer !

In 2018 :

  Friday 6 July

Clay : From extraction to processing
We will start by visiting the ponds at  Launay and then we will go to the pottery museum in Ger and stop at an oven in ruins at La Buissonière.
5€ per person.

  Friday 13 July

Visit of a private garden and focus on permaculture
Exceptionally, we will visit a garden and then we will take the direction of Saint-Bômer to be introduced to the principles of permaculture.

Cooking workshop at Chrystelle's
Summer is the best time for
picnicking! New ideas for a balanced picnic and gourmet, preparing and then tasting.

JM Moteurs and tasting hay

Visit of the production workshops in Domfront then direction towards Saint-Fraimbault to taste hay.

With an experienced councilor, let's go to discover the town houses and flowered farms rewarded.

Discovering Arthurian legends
Gilles Susong will take us along the roads of Domfront in search of Arthur and his knights.

Cyclo in the marshes
We will ride our bikes and leave for a dozen kilometers from Saint-Gilles-des-Marais to take the greenway, join Rouellé and go to the assault of this marshes.

Hiking around the iron ore
With Mickael in charge of the Iron Museum, let's walk for 9 kilometers to connect the mining sites of La Ferrière.

  Friday 31 August

Jacky Leduc and Lemorton Cellars
Visit of the famous workshops where traditional cold charcuterie of Normandy is produced and visit of Lemorton Farm's ageing cellars.
